Giovani Italo-Sudafricani Launches in Cape Town

The Giovani Italo-Sudafricani (GIS) Cape Town had its launch on Friday, November 9 with a well-attended event hosted by La Perla.

GIS was founded in Johannesburg four years ago and is a non-profit association providing a social forum for young Italians and South Africans between the ages of 18 and 45 years. The aim is for people with an interest in the Italian way of life to interact on social, business, cultural, and sporting levels. GIS is also linked to the Italian South African Chamber of Commerce as it becomes a feeder structure for the Chamber through the young members becoming members of the Chamber as well.

The organization is planning regular monthly events and activities and welcomes involvement from members within the Italian Community.

Should anyone wish to join the association they may contact Nicci Colussi or Giovanna Roma (Italian South African Chamber) on the following email addresses: nicci@capequarter.co.za or giovanna.roma@icc.org.za or phone The Chamber on 021 425 9999.
